I was wondering if there would be any interest in a AZ City buggy event. We have some great riding here in AZ City and I thought we could make it a 2 -3 day event. I would be willing to get some discount pricing for rooms in the area. I would also be willing to set up some (limited) camping on my property. I was also thinking we may be able to get a water truck out here to make some nice mud pits and put together some events and prizes. Arizona City is located between Tucson and Phoenix at the I-10 and the I-8 split. Think about it could be alot of fun. I will add some pictures of the area soon. There is a ride planned for this weekend going to Crown King. Do a search for the thread. To answer your first question many have expressed interest in an AZ buggy fest. However when it comes right down to it, it is much harder to get people to show up,than it is for the guys back east and I think the reason is we all have so much good rideing area right outside our back door its tough to justify travaling 200 miles to ride in someone else back yard. I for one would love to see it, but I have been to two other attempts and we had three people show up. Even the organizer didnt show up to the first one. If any are interested I would even host one up north since it is getting awfully hot in the valley. But I have my doubts. Van _________________ 2005 Joyner 650 Turbo

Long ago when this buggy forum first began I lived in AZ city and held several get togethers there. If you comb this forum you can find several pictures from my events.
Since then I moved to Florida but have now saw the light and am now back. I now live in Tucson. The casa grande mountain area is a blast and I'll definately ride up there sometime. Its also fun to take the 3 hour trip to imperial dunes near yuma. Tucson is also great but most spots require the buggy being licensed. No biggie...just do it.
Feel free to email me. We'll get together sometime. Looks like you have a Yerf? I have an old KPX which can climb pretty much any AZ city hill. Theres a great spot a short jump from the SE corner of town.
