the steering will prob be better then my titan it sucks i am thinking of buying used, no i am going to buy used so prob not get the 07 it will prob be the 05 or 06 so you have the webber kit? do you think that it will dune with out it or does it really need it thanks

The Joyner 650 Commado utulizes the same engine/tranny as the 650 sand spider. The only difference between the 2 machines is the transmission gear ratios. The Commando has a very low (granny) gear and top speed is only about 45-50 mph. You could do a complete tranny swap and have the gearing you desire for low end torque but there would be a trade off for top speed.

I have an 06 Sand Spider and have recently sold my 07 Spider. I have owned the 06 for just over 1 year and have 620 miles on it. I don't get to use it as much as some other people do, but I have not had any problems yet. The buggy seems to be pretty well built and reliable for the Chinese. I really enjoy the buggy and sometimes ride around my subdivision just to get seat time. I ride mostly on atv trails so the gearing is not problem for me. The gearing on the 06 and 07 is exactly the same, but I can't speak for the 05 gearing. I would recommend these buggies to any one, they are a lot of fun and are fast enough to get you into trouble if you ride on trails through the woods. The one thing I would say is to replace the stock 2 ply tires, they are too easy to puncture. I plan to do some engine mods in the future, but first I am replacing the shocks. Others who have done both engine and suspension mods say the suspension should come first. I have bought some remote reservoir clicker snowmobile shocks for the front and plan on getting the Fox shocks recommended by JBQUADRIDER for the rear.
I say go for it.

are the shocks really that bad because i have driven the 250 joyner and thought the shocks were pretty good i mean there not fox or kings but they are good chinese shocks

Check the lower rear a-arms...They bend pretty easy if the buggy has been jumped much......Not a big problem, just something to be aware of.....
