Without any luck in getting info on how to change the jets
on a Joyner 650 Spider I decided to tear into it myself.

This could not be an easier job, once you know how to do
it, it takes 15 minutes to change out the jet.

Want to adjust the float level, again 15 minute job.

Don't bother removing the carburetor, just 4 screws from the top and the float assembly comes off and there it is.

The stock jet was 110. I wanted to go just a little leaner so went with a 105 and it seems perfect, I'm at 5000+'.
I used a Keihin jet, same ones I used on the Joyner 250.

A picture is worth a thousand words so here ya go.

Yes, that's where I get my jets. I use the Keihin round jets.

hello there just log on ,great info on the 650 buggys.i have a new 07 off road 650 ,the problem i am having with it is that after driving it for about 20 mins on forest road it starts to loss power and finaly stop ,it has the new crome exhaust plus the new knh filter which should give me about 20 % more power as i all ready have two older 04 650 cc and they can pull way for the 07.

if there is any one that can have any solution that would be great...

Jim, I am at roughly 5000' elevation as well. What is the part number of the jet you used and what difference did you notice between the stock jet and the 105 jet?

Is there any difference I should note if I will be adding a turbo later in the month?
