The diff on the pics is the same I have...
It's not locked or lockable

Can you lock your diff on your Joyner?

On the Joyner, it is a solid shaft that the sprocket
bolts to, then both axle shafts slide onto splines on
each end of that center shaft making it a locked unit,
both rear tires spin equally, making steering difficult
on pavement.

GTR300 owners,
How have your buggies been ? How are they in tighter trails ? Any mods ? What are your true top speeds ? Have parts been and issue ?
The GTR300 is on my short list of buggies and I'm just looking for some feedback.

I've had one for a month now. So far it has been ok. Turning radius is not good, but there is a mod to fix that that I hear works well. I am going to do the mod myself. No real trouble yet accept the cheesy fenders these folks that build buggies keep producing that snap real easy.
I have gone 43 mph with 2 200lb guys in it. In mud the tires fill up and because of the dif. it will begin the "one wheelie peelie"...easy to get stuck in deep mud, not bad in moderate slop. However it impresses me on hill climbing, it is no wimp when it comes to that.
I would say it is as good as any out there in that cc range....a little more cash than some but there is no wishy washy answers when it comes to parts availability questions. I could pick this cart, or any of the others like it apart if you want, but remember there is a reason the RZR is $10,000.00 and these buggies arnt. For the price I think the 300 is a very nice value and fun..... accept the fenders...... cheesy! 1 month 2 out of 4 fenders broken, or cracked from simple tree branch whips etc.
on tight trails..... what width are you refering to? remember this thing is 63" wide. I have trails cut into my woods and it does great, but watch the tight corners and make sure you don't catch the rear tire on a tree @ 20mph. It will peg your "Fun Meter".
