In my area there is a Twister Hammerhead dealer and a Carter dealer.

The Twister dealer took two months to order an intake elbow for me although his prices were reasonable. They sell the 150 and 250 models but no after market parts. I have tried to get them interested, but nothing so far.

The Carter dealer now sells MRP parts after I leaned on these guys the last two years and showing them the mods and potential of my Yerf. They sell the smallest Carter through the GTR250, but I usually only see the 150 in their store. They are trying, but have no mod experience so install time is killing their after market potential.

I have bought some GY6 parts and engines locally from people that had dead scooters or buggies (I have two spare GY6s for parts or future mods), but my new parts have mostly come from online vendors. Most of my wheels and tires are take-offs from ATVs that are advertised on Craig's List.

If it is performance parts that you are looking for, I can help you. Even stock motor parts. I do not carry the Roketa line...so parts for the buggy I cannot help with.

I also have used these guys, the MRP parts they sell dosn't work for the GTR 250. However they do have mods like carbs, pipes, and such. I would still get with an online dealer from here. I bought a CDI and coil from the dealer up here and after 2 CDI's and then them ordering and trying a different one on mods another guy's buggy I gave up. THere pipe mods are just slip on, no header. I like the guys for trying but I'm not certain I will use 'em much. They can't keep a 250 on the floor, its gone almost imediatly. Find someone on-line you can trust and get ahold of is my advice. I have put mods on the side for now I have repairs to focus on. Cripple ...We need a Emoticon thats a weilder!

thanks for all your help, as far as upgrades go, rollers and such, im not shure about the workings of the cvt "transmission" as far as the engine goes, i can run mine w.f.o. all day long. since i have had problems finding the "right" parts ive been almoset forced into useing automotive parts for lots of applications, my favorite so far is the adjustable fan switch, a reheostat so i can chage the temp the fan turns on.. and the rotation, handy in the winter to have warm air blowing on your neck... but those are my problems, my latest break was the front left "axle" a previous run in with a honda civic left tings a little twisted, i fixed, bent and welded everything back where it should be, but i just dont haveto tooling to built such a complicated piece, at the right angles, a appreciate all of your help in the matter, ive evean been wondering if i could change the suspension to a diffrent buggy type. but i kinda like the equal length front arms... im just difficult.
i was talking to the local roketa dealer, and he was giving me a hard time, since it not officaly a roketa. its a peirspeed 252.. so he wont as much look at it. (sigh) Cripple

Yah....what he said. Or.....perhaps the steering linkage off an 06 sand viper would work. There are big differences between the 2 models.

patrickarel; not much here in eastern Wa, for dependible, Local, aftermarket parts (only 1 Carter dealer & not very experienced when it comes to our buggys). But Glade @ Edge Power sports seems very knowledgable & reliable... he is soon to be a main connection for me (maybe add to my speed dial) if I can finalize the deal Im working on pre-owned 07 Joyner 650.
Glade U get my PM ?? I really want to put this deal together...
