My 06 sand spider wont turn over the lights work but nothing at the starter. Battery is charged I bench tested the starter and it works. Anyone have more things for me to try? Thanxs
Follow the heavy starter lines back to the starter solenoid. Shorting across the two big poles should result in the starter spinning. If it does not, you have a supply or ground problem to the solenoid or starter.
The control side of the solenoid is connected to the key switch. Bypass the switch to verify the solenoid is working. If it cranks, the solenoid is OK and the ignition switch is faulty. _________________ 08 Joyner SandViper 250

No luck so far, I put the volt meter on the solenoid and I got 12+ volts, when I turn on the key or try my remote starter my volt meter go's from 12+ volts to under 2 volts. And I can hear a slight sound from the solenoid?? Anymore help would be nice thanxs
If you short across the solenoid, the starter should crank. Since lights are bright, I am assuming the battery is OK. Perhaps the starter motor is at fault.
What happened with the other troubleshooting I posted? What were your results? _________________ 08 Joyner SandViper 250

I tryed shorting across the solenoid and nothing happend
You either have no 12VDC supplying the solenoid which powers the starter, you have no ground return from the starter, or the starter motor is bad. _________________ 08 Joyner SandViper 250
