Had the exact same problem, after trying everything under the sun, the eventual fix was simply replacing the spark plug boot...cost me like 4 bucks...good luck

Ive been screwin' around with it and noticed that when i have someone turn over the engine from the key, when they let off(of the starter) i get a spark. Just wanted to throw that out there. even if its after warmup, w/no spark. I get a spark when lettin off the key.

Did you get that can of freeze spray? Once it is warm and losing spark, spray the CDI to cool it down and try it again. If that doesn't do it, try the same with coil going to the sparkplug. Have you tried to replace the spark plug? Follow the wires from the flywheel magnet pickup to the CDI are they intact and making good connections?
