I finally got down to figuring out these crapy Roketa ball joints,
I have the uppers done and will do the lowers next week.
Her are some photos of the heim joint swap. I plan on making the lowers adjustable for camber adjustment so I didnt need the top to move.
I had to make a small aluminum spacer to get away from the spindle for free movement also had to sholder the bolt head for the same reason. I paid 12.99ea. for the hi angle hein joints from a local dirt car shop, then cut the threaded portion off so I was left with just the joint. I also made sure the joints were brass bushed inside insted of cheep plastic so when I welded them on I didnt end up with a puddle of plastic. I took off the spindle and bored a straight hole thru it, I cant belive how soft the metal was!! Atleast I think it was metal Shocked
Anyhow here they are.

Those joints look nice, but it seems like more work than most can do on their own.

The Yerf-Dogs went through their share of ball joint problems. I was able to find inline joints from Carr McMaster that have worn well on the Yerf, but Buggy Depot has a heavier joint for the Yerf-Dogs that may work for your Roketas. Check out their site or contact Travis over there for more information.

Actually they took about three hours to do .
What I like over the ball joints is I will do this once, ball joint's no mater how good they are they still wear out.
I do see your point but most of us have a saw ,grinder, and a welder dont we?
Even if you just replace the stock joint they are welded in the plate so your going to need to cut and weld anyhow, heck your almost there already..

Fuel cell,Side nets, Shock straps, Battery box,5 point harness,
Driving suit etc. etc. If I would have known a month before I would have been on it but a week's notice Evil or Very Mad
