i have figured out how to stop the leak and well i guess you just gota baby it remember that gk-06 dosent have a locked rear end may get stuck easier

I know it doesn't have the locking diff. I don't plan on driving in too much deep mud or river crossings. I am buying a CAI snorkle, ne jets and a Clutch pack to give it more low end torque. I should be OK. We usually just stay on trail and do excursions during dry weather.

I know it doesn't have lock rear diff. Doesn't it have Poi Trac though? I think I am going to through a performance clutch, smaller clutch springs and roller weight in it to increase bottom end torque. I saw a crap load of buggies at the Canadian River today (10,000+ people/ mud bogs, sand drags and much more fun) and the Hammerhead 250's looked like they were doing real well on the steep hills and deep sand. The sand there can get up to 8-10 inches deep of loosness. But that is not what covers every trail though. Most of the trails are hilly and rocky and compacted dirt and sand. I think with good speed, the GK-06 will do fine on most trails. I mainly want it for my wife and 2 year old.

I really liked the Titan 250, and the leaks really don't scare me.... it's just that I think they are going to be hard to come by for parts since dealers are pulling them off their shelves. It sounds like AwesomeBuggy does not care for them. What a shame that it is not built better, I really wanted the comfortable ride of that buggy.

Whats this on converting the GK-06 to the 800cc motor????

I have been looking around for info on doing a swap? If not this summer then next.

Really like to get some more power on this chassis!!!!

By the way I run my Gk-06 thru riverbeds by me quite frequently and the open diff hasnt been a problem at all...

The thing really has some rovering capability!
