hello and welcome
on your choke have you tracked down the choke wires where they plug together and see if it is getting power. these things take power all time when your running.it heats up a wax like thing with spring and needle causing it to push needle down in choke base shutting choke off.i would check and see if it is getting power.
a lot of us get tired of fooling with them and convert them to manual choke with the bolt.its work really good and than you know when choke is on or off and be suprised how much better they run.
you can do a search here it will show you how to make it manual.
on the sliders i think alot of the 250 riders run from 15 to 21 grams mabye if you let us know what kind of riding you will be doing the 250cc riders can help you better on that.
my friend is running a titan buggy the older style and he has had pretty good luck with it.
good luck with your new buggy
