I hope everyone here is ready for the first professionally made buggy using a 400cc Yamaha Jv Factory Motor. There arent any pictures on the website yet but Ive included one here. Just to give you all some back ground. QuickSand Performance (www.quicksandperformance.com) has been in busisness for 15years. We have made a great name for ourselves in building fullsize sand rails. We are now throwing our hat into quads, dirt bikes, and of course a new and we think the best 400cc kart. Please feel free to ask questions, the reality of this product is that it may be as late as september when we see it in full production. This Picture is the only prototype in existance. This kart is entirly built by the Yamaha Jv factory, unlike some other 400cc karts where just the motor is built there.
can you give any specs yet. length, width . etc etc . _________________ Blade buggies,Carter buggy's Atv's, parts and repairs. accessories for all makes.

I do have some other views. Here is one of the rear. Sorry the pics are a bit dark but they were taken right as production was finished last week.
As for Now I have no specs other than that it is a true Yamaha Motor and drive train, and the entire vehicle is being built at the Yamaha Jv Factory. This kart is was built with a 50/50 weight distribution so when you jump it, the vehicle will fly flat and straight. This entire car is based off our Jr Comp 500 series which we are using Hyabusa street bike motors for. This Kart is simply a shrunk down verson of that.
I will keep you all up to date on the details as they come to us.
Best Regards,
QSP

Looks like a Blaster hood and Raptor lights. You couldn't talk Yamaha into a JV Raptor 660 engine, huh? It looks pretty sweet; are you going to have some video clips in the near future? _________________ LJ Tech 1100cc Sand Sport -- Working the bugs out...

i like the looks of this buggy and i hope that beefy fuel tank carries over to the production model hopefully as testing is done you can provide us with some vids and as everyone has already stated the specs out here on the east coast width is a factor because we dont have the wide open areas and have to fit our buggies on 4wheeler trails keep us posted love it so far

Im glad you are finding intrest with this kart, I hope you can see that we really have built a product that is a cut above all else out there. When I am given the details on how wide, long, heavy, fast, this kart is I will relay it to all of you. I do know that the spun aluminum tank will carry over to the production model, just waiting on how many gallons it will carry.
For the mean time here are some pics of a dirt bike we are making.
Your buggy looks good and I like the engine size , but it looks to wide for most places I ride. _________________ 2005 Twister Hammerhead 150cc MRP variator,11 grams rollers, yellow clutch spring,MRP racing clutch, MRP exhaust,
