Just a thought. would it be possible to do a quick 2 lap time lap and class it based on what time it runs? since it is a non suspension Kart I would think it would have a little advantage, since power sliding into the turn comes with ease and takes little effort, a lower center of gravity, giving a less chance of roll over and better control. _________________ Team - The Gas Guzzlers

This is something that will have to be considered on a National and Regional basis.
My initial thoughts are that based on the definition of a mini-buggy that your vehicle would be classified as a go-cart or trial-cart, not a mini-buggy.
You are correct that a cart of your type will have an advantage over the typical stock mini-buggy.
Tom, we should discuss this. _________________ Chris Dierkens

I agree, but it seems the only way I would get to run is if I was placed into a buggy class. I think it would compete fine with a stock buggy on a oval track. but if it were to fast than I would expect to be place into a higher class even though it is a stock kart. still has the off road tires and a heavy duty roll cage, just lacks the hi, low and reverse gear, and suspension and ground clearnce, and weight, battery start etc... other than all that _________________ Team - The Gas Guzzlers

We don't need to debate it here. I could argue both sides very well. There's always going to be a slight difference between vehicles that are allowed and those that aren't. Again, it's the organization's decision to make. They will need to define it. _________________ Chris Dierkens

T, H are you going make it down after all? Have to go get some of that dirty south BBQ if you are also I was not trying to create a debate about this, I was kidding when I did that comparison, sorry if it came off the wrong way. I agree with you 100%, and think that this is something that should be discussed among the personal in charge of the event.
I will just bring the kart and hopefully things well work out
