Has anyone used a fold-up trailer to haul their buggy? I have a 150cc 2005 Twister, and am not sure it will fit in one. I was considering:

or:

Part of my problem is that the my buggy is stored at a ranch 3 hrs away, so it is hard to measure it and prospective trailers.

The Sears trailer bed is too short, but the Kendon would do fine. I had a 8'x4' folding trailer from Harbor Freight for years with no problems. Try to find a trailer with the largest possible wheels. They will spin slower on the highway so the hubs will not get as warm plus it will roll over uneven terrain better. _________________ 08 Joyner SandViper 250

The one from Sears is way too short. Your buggy is about 87" long and that trailer is only 79" long.
The other one, holy crap are they proud of that thing!
$2000 for a 6x8 trailer????? That's crazy money. I have a 5x8 trailer that's not a folding type, but it does have a ramp and about 1' sides that was $550 new from Menards. You then pay sales tax when you register it. I've been very happy with it.
It's got a 1500lb rated axle which is more than ample to carry a buggy. It's also light so I can push it around by hand. Do you need to have a folding type? _________________ Ron

You have a twister. It's not much bigger than 4x8. A 5x10 trailer should work but a 6x12 is probably better.
A 1.2-second google search turned up this:
Texas Truck and Trailer over on FortView Road
http://www.txtruckandtrailer.com/TexasTruckAndTrailer/UtilityTrailers/Uti lityTrailers.htm
Check them out, they are in Austin and if they don't have a trailer for you ask them where the best place to get one is.
They'll help you. _________________ Chris Dierkens
