thanks teamhogs
after reading what i had wrote, i left out it was a plastic oil drum nice and thick but not heavy it will stay round after you cut it.than you can cut it in half and its still sort of a nice molded for a fender they will take a good beating.

IM4Seven,

Don't forget to post some final pics. With this weather it should be a good time to test them.

I remember last year riding in the snow out at EMR. Those ITP Mudlites throw the snow way up in the air and forward. It would end up between my back and the seat.

That would end up being like what the Rzr comes with stock. I'm looking to make one from 3/16 or 1/4" polyethylene because it's tough & slippery. But I've heard a 4X8 sheet is way over $100. That's kinda nuts for milkjug plastic, IMO.

Take a look here - www.usplastic.com - funny thing about the pricing on this stuff. It would appear that the larger the surface area, the more costly to produce. For example, according to the product, one can buy 4 - 24" x 48" panels for less than 1 - 48" x 96" sheet. They have some stuff up to an inch thick! That should make a solid skid plate! Laughing

IM4Seven,

Where did you get those braces from. there's one that looks like it was almost made for that purposes. The one attached to the metal strap at the 12 O'Clock position that runs to the vertical tab.

Looks like I may need to scavange some parts off of something.

Good work..
