Not trying to stir up anything here but is it decided for sure that it will be held at St. Joe? Can I throw in another option of Turkey Bay?
I'm not going to be picky, if at all possbile I would attend no matter what. Just wondering if Turkey Bay has been considered, it is much much larger than Paddy's. Hopefully we will get a ride up pretty soon and then we can get some un-biased reviews of how good it would be for a buggybash, I know jessa was just there last weekend, maybe we can get a ride review? I have been there quite a few times on a buggy and it has a lot to offer, from large sweeping trails where you can go full throttle, to tight and twisty, as well as rocky hills and mud pits. It has camping areas but not sure how they compare to St. Joes since I am not much on roughing it (hotels for me).
Hopefully I will get to go to St. Joes pretty soon as well, since I have never been there on a buggy and it has been many years since the last visit. I am very curious as to the type of riding, I just remember lots of sand. the next organized ride there and I will try to make it, it may be better than Turkey Bay, I really have no idea, I just want to ride, I had no idea buggynews was even getting together for rides since I dropped out after selling the twister. _________________ Buggy-less at the moment.

Makes no difference to me. Paddy's is nice, but if they won't let us in before Friday it really limits who can and can't make it.
I think it needs to be where people can arrive earlier and set up so they can ride for more than one day. It seems like most people arrive as soon as the gates were opened on Friday and spent the rest of the day setting up camp and only had Saturday to ride because they had to start packing up camp to make it back home on Sunday. At least allow us to show up on Thursday so we can have Friday and Saturday as two full days to ride and see everybody.

all the main trails are do-able with stock buggies, they get progressively more difficult the farther you venture out. None of these pictures really show how hilly it is, all those flat pictures you see are usually by the lake or the "mudding" area. If you are going to venture off the main trails, you better have a good climbing buggy... _________________ Buggy-less at the moment.
