Cage should be bent for strength in case of rollover. Go round up top and bend the main pieces in one piece from the floor up and over to the other side of the floor. Doesnt matter about the looks, it will be much stronger.

Thanks for all the reply's guys.. i have decided to build the cage using round 25mm by 3 or 4mm thick.. found a place down the road form my place that will sell it to me for $3.70 per/m (australian) in 8m lengths. Do you think that will be strong enough? If i go larger the cost is not much different extra 20c/per/m. And im not to worried about weight as the motor that is going in the back is a 1600cc n13 pulsar motor.. so i have lots of wight to play with in comp to the weight of the car.
