You want gore? Maybe Stu took some pictures of the INside of his camper so you can see what blown tires ripping a big hole in the floor and covering everything in sight with black rubber dust and tire cords. It was unreal Shocked

I can't get my kids to take off the Blade racings shirts Stu's wife gave the kids. They thought Stu was some kind of god and wouldn't even talk to him. Guess were going to Georgia here soon and get a Blade from Big E (well not soon but that's an entirely different subject) I knew you'd pay!!!

"I think I need a front rim, m tire keeps loosin air.... "

Put slime in it if it is only loosing a bit of air over a day or so. Slime will plug a hole up to a 1/4 inch. Whish I had it in my Trailer tires before they blew Twisted Evil . Anyway, bet you that solves the problem. If you don't find a hole before you do it and want to look for it, try the old soapy water approach first. Then you will know if it is a hole or your bead. But I bet the Slime will fixer up!

Stu

lol... Thanks Stu!!! lol... I tried all the tricks, soapy water, dunking into a tank to look for bubbles, all that.... I went off a jump at a trip to EMR and I think it popped the bead.... Made it back to the truck on a pretty flat tire, and it took air just fine, but leaks over a week or so.... I am hoping i didnt bend the rim anywhere, but I cant really see with the naked eye, so it must be a pin-hole or something I am missing... I will slime it before the NE meet... BTW, did you get my PM??? I am looking for a couple more performance parts, hoping you could help out!!!

I need some bling rims to finish the dune with!!! lol... I dont have that kinda $ yet...maybe in a year or so....lol.... Thanks agian!

John

If you were riding with a flat there is an excellent chance you have junk between the tire bead and the rim. It doesn't take much to cause a leak and at 4-6 psi you don't have much to lose!

I'd love to see pictures of that trailer. I've got a few technicians who don't believe me when I try to tell them that it's important to inspect EVERYTHING on the trailers before they leave for a job AND when they are returning from a job. I'm glad it all worked out.

John, take the tire apart... clean everything up, rim, tire bead, etc... put it back together, then put some silicone based caulk around the rim and then inflate those tires to 20 lbs or so. Leve them like that for ~24 hours or so and then deflate them to your desired pressure. I've used that technique on wheelborrow tires. It works great....

I had a similar problem once. Couldn't find the leak anywhere. I finally inflated it to about 20 lbs and was able to find a tiny leak around the rim. I deflated it pretty low, just enought to keep it on the rim, then I soaked the edge of the rim with WD40 and scrubbed it with a wire brush. It worked and has held air every since. I think it was just a tiny pebble or a spec of dirt that wasn't allowing it to seal good and either the WD40 or the wire brush dislodged it.

I broke the steering wheel on my single Dazon. Still drove it out - just had to be careful not to get pinched or cut on the metal.
Finally gave me a reason to upgrade! Just picked up a new steering wheel at Advance that is 13.5" instead of the stock 11.5". It was $30 and after drilling the holes out a little, it bolted right up.
