I just spoke with Steven with Carter Brothers. He's their regional sales rep for this area. He called me asking for directions and to inform me that he is bringing the new Carter 300cc machine for us to see and try out!!!
According to him it has been test driven and he was personally told by the driver that it is DRAMATICALLY faster than the 250.
He wanted to show it off to us! Let's represent ourselves well and show that we take our sport seriously and give him some good quality feedback positive or negative.
He said he would like to be there Friday, but would for sure be there Saturday.

Yeah, definitely good news. It would be nice to get some of these manufacturers to get behind this event and help it grow and help us get the word out about it. Not to mention its a great opportunity for the manufacturers to talk to the people that are actually using their product. There is literally going to be someone from every corner of our country there that can tell these guys face to face about how their buggy is holding up in their local terrain. I would think every manufacturer in the U.S. would want to be here for something like this. Talk about getting some research done!
I hope he actually shows up though. We had a guy last year that was going to debut a new buggy and have giveaways and prizes and he never showed and we haven't heard anything from him since.
I would think that Carter's reputation is too important to bail on us. He assured me he would be here and I asked if it was ok to post that he was going to show and what he would be bringing, so hopefully he will.

He called me today and said he was headed in this direction. He is going to stay about 2 hours a way tonight and be at Paddy's at about 10 in the morning.
He said that next year that Carter wanted to have a MUCH larger presence at the event. He said it would be much more planned out.
I don't think I'll be able to take in pics or video of it. My camera took swim today! I was trying to go around a huge mud puddle with very little clearance on the 4-wheeler on the front tire slid right off into spilling me and my daughter on our backs right in the middle of the puddle. Ruined my cell phone, camera and our clothes. What a mess!!!!
I wish you guys could be here, we had a blast today! Some riding with RDYFZ450 (Jeff) in his Joyner 1600! It's awesome!!! He took me up the power trail today and it rode like a Cadillac! I saw Guy's Ridge Runner, it's really nice too! They were with me when we took our little swim! Stu has new 4-wheelers on a trailer that really look sharp! Some fireworks to cap off the evening. Great day!

OK now I'm really MAD I can't be there First I have to work today and now I have to put a new Intake on my wifes car ( I think we'll sale this car, every year at this time it messes up) do you think it don't want me to make it to Paddy's .
