I wanted to post a picture of a New Cart that is being anounced next week. I only know what I've been told. It is built in Europe and is supposed to have a 500cc motor. I will post more pics on my web site, www.ibsfunmachines.com, as I get them. Details to follow as I get them.
I have seen the european built on the web before there is a chinese knock off and it is UGLY. I like the look of this buggy from Europe. A 500cc engine is kinda small for that size buggy although I hear the frame is aluminum and there is a good deal of plastic on it so it may be pretty light when compared to the 800's and 1000's. Can't wait to hear more on this buggy. _________________ Randy

I have actually seen some specs on these and the ones I've ssen come with 650cc, 800cc and 1000cc. The one Dave is talking about may be a newer version. Dave let us know when you find out for sure. _________________ Randy

That is a Crossbone, it came out last year in Italy (I think). The Chinese knock off does not look nearly as good. _________________ Custom Buggy http://www.buggynews.com/topic13417.html

Its an AXR made in France, light weight with a 400cc motor.
The suspension is macpherson struts all round, so better on than off road. Full body kits are available including glass screen and wiper. Its expensive compared to Chinese buggies.
Thanks for the update. Looks like it could be made street legal. I can see some "green" celebrity pulling up to Graumans in something like that
I wonder how much more like a car these can get before the feds start slapping them with regulations and driving the price up? _________________ _________________

Same thing here in Spain, buy a buggy for off-road, pay 16% tax, use it on the road and pay an EXTRA 12% on top of the original 16%! Spanish road vehicle tax on top of sales tax.
