Doesn't run, paid $250 for it. The guy said they had it for a couple years and his daughter rarely rode it. This spring, he said it died. He pushed it back to the shed and there was no spark. He had a buddy take the stator out and it is all torn up, but he didn't know where to get parts, and ended up buying a new buggy. The tires still have the nibs on them. It has sat outside, but it looks like its in good condition. I'll try to post some pics. Quick question. Can I just buy Dazon parts for it? This thing looks nearly identical to the Dazon Mini Raider 90.
Whaddya think? Good deal? I've yet to tell my wife.

I mighty can get the parts for it. what does the stator look like? not a bad deal for the money
Thanks Eric. I'll try and get some pics posted tonight. I took a little closer look and the wiring is not in great shape. There's wires pulled out of the connectors, the rectifier and CDI aren't connected, etc. I'm no threat to Einstein, so this wiring thing oughta be fun.

If you do not find wiring diagrams for this buggy, use the equivalent diagrams from Honda as a reference. They will be close to the following models: ATC70, C70, CT70, ATC90, CT90, ATC110 and CT110.

You done good - relatively easy to find parts if you know where to look. pghruby is right - the engine/transmission is the same as the Honda CT90 motorcycle. There have been a TON of these sold world wide and there are oodles and gobs of parts available. Beatrice Cycle is where I have purchased intake parts: http://www.dratv.com/index.html click on the link for CT90 and you will find electrical parts also like CDIs and rectifiers. The Dazon and Baja are 99% identical. I am attaching a service manual for the 90 that has troubleshooting flow charts and I think it has wiring diagrams. Good luck - let us know how it goes.
A few more. You can tell this thing has sat outside for quite a while. The tank was full of rust, too.
What I need help with is where the wires were pulled out of the connector. I believe that is the starter relay, but not sure where the red and white wires go. I guess I got a 50/50 chance of getting it right. If someone could post a pic of the connector into the starter relay, that would be cool.
Thanks for all the posts. You've been a big help. This is gonna be a bit more of a project than what I originally thought. I think I'll surprise the boy in the spring with it. He doesn't know I bought it.

that looks like the neutral indicator, the stator looks like a 70 or 110. the single wire off the stator is for the pick up coil and goes to the cdi, if I remember right
